The loon that lives on this lake, songbirds, wind in the aspens, a light rain that comes and goes, a ground squirrel who chittered at me because I was setting up a hammock in her yard. And then ran off, after her act of bravery.
I'm thankful for
Starlink, and dogs who wear jangly collars, so when they're investigating my tent in the early morning I hear and know that the sniffing and circling is just the campground neighborhood watch and not a black bear.
